Service and location pages

A page for every service and every area you cover gives Google a clear reason to show you, and gives customers exactly what they searched for. We write them to rank and to sell.

FAQ

Questions, answered

What is a service page, and what is a location page?

A service page focuses on one thing you offer, such as "boiler repair". A location page focuses on one area you cover, such as a town or neighborhood. Combining the two gives you a page for each service in each area that matters.

How many pages do I need?

It depends on how many services and areas you cover. Your free audit recommends where to start.

Will the pages be copied from each other?

No. Each page is written for its own service and area, because duplicated pages rarely rank well.

Will Google see these as low-quality doorway pages?

Not if they are done properly. Google discourages thin pages that swap one town name for another. We write each page with details that are genuinely useful for that service and area.

What goes on each page?

A clear headline, what the service involves, the areas you cover, proof such as reviews and photos where you have them, answers to common questions and an obvious way to call or request a quote.

How long before the pages start ranking?

New pages can take a few months to build visibility, and results depend on your competition. We recommend at least 4–6 months to judge them.

Can you improve the pages I already have?

Yes. Where an existing page is a good fit, we improve it rather than starting again, so you keep any visibility it already has.

Do you build the website too?

Our work focuses on the pages and SEO. Tell us about your current website on the free audit form and we will advise what makes sense.
