FAQ

Questions, answered

What is a citation?

A citation is a mention of your business name, address and phone number on another website, such as a directory.

Are citations still worth it?

Yes. Consistent listings help Google confirm who you are and where you are, and they help customers find you on other platforms. They are one part of local SEO, not a shortcut on their own.

What does NAP mean?

NAP stands for name, address and phone number. Keeping them identical everywhere is one of the simplest ways to show Google your business details are reliable.

How many citations do you build?

Our Starter plan includes 25 citations plus clean-up of your existing listings. The right number for you depends on your industry and country, and we agree the list after your audit.

What kind of backlinks do you build?

Relevant local links from places such as associations, suppliers, partners and local publications. We prefer a few links that make sense for your business over many that don't.

Are backlinks risky?

Low-quality links can be. That is why we focus on relevant, local links and avoid link schemes.

Do you buy links or use link networks?

No. Paid link schemes and private networks can lead to penalties. We only pursue links we would be comfortable showing you.

How long do links take to help?

Their effect builds gradually alongside your other SEO work. We recommend at least 4–6 months to judge results.
